Getting Back to What I Love

Hi everyone!! It’s me again back with another little update. I have officially been at my job for a month now. Time has flown by in more ways than one. If you stopped by this past Saturday you’ve noticed I released a new author spotlight on Christina Henry, author of the Alice duology and Lost Boy: the True Story of Captain Hook. As well as another series before that which was always on the bestsellers list. If you haven’t checked that out yet, you should.

Coming up this week is a mini series review of The Tale of Shikanoko by Lian Hern. It is one of my favorite series to date. I am not a big reader of series. I tend to not finish them. But I did with this one.

I unfortunately haven’t read in the same amount of time that I have been employed, but I plan to change that this week. I am looking forward to getting back to Gun machine by Warren Ellis. It is a really great read, I just haven’t had time to devote to it sadly. Hopefully that changes soon.

On a more personal note, my fiance and I are finally getting our own place! We move in two weeks from now. I am so excited and looking forward to this. It will be a great new step in our relationship.

He is also a giant reader, so he is trying to get me back to a normal reading schedule. Let’s hope that it works!! In the meantime, I will be getting everything ready for the big move.

I am hoping to get back to a semi normal schedule here. I can’t make many promises, but I do have things lined up. Coming soon will be a review of a book signing I went to where I met my fiancee’s running hero. It was a great time. That should be coming up soon.

I am also attending Random House’s open house at their office this Friday. There will be a review on that experience as well. This will likely be one of the last times I go. This will be my fifth I believe. It’s been fun.

That’s it for now! Have a great week; and come back soon!
